Full Job Description

Chief Clinical Officer is a vital member of West Central Behavioral Health’s executive leadership team. We are seeking an experienced Chief Clinical Officer to provide strategic leadership and drive the clinical vision across the agency.

 

Responsibilities (partial list):

  • Oversees the clinical service delivery, supporting staffing patterns, supervisory structure and other resources to ensure program goals are achievable and fiscally viable.
  • Develops a strategic vision for clinical programming that is inclusive of professional development with coaching and mentorship, use of evidenced based practices and development of innovative approaches to community based care.
  • Develops annual budgets, working with the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring that accurate staffing patterns and other anticipated expenses are included.
  • Oversees the quality of clinical programming. Ensures consistency in the delivery of evidenced based practices.
  • Uses data from a variety of sources to inform business decisions related to clinical services, program structure, allocation of staff resources and agency priorities.
  • Recommends and implements changes to service delivery based ongoing quality improvement data, fidelity reviews or other data sets indicating areas of improvement are warranted.
  • Develops a clinical training plan in collaboration with the Director of Training and Staff Development.

 

Maximum Remote Capacity: 40%

 

Education: Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, or counseling. A NH license in that respective discipline is required.

Experience: At least 8 years of clinical experience and 3 years of progressively more advanced administrative experience, the latter may be in conjunction with the clinical experience.

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn necessary computer and technical skills essential to the position and Agency.
  • Ability to lead a clinical team.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of and experience with state CHMC requirements
  • Prior experience in a community mental health environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to access all Agency sites

Other:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Agency and/or State of New Hampshire required background check(s)
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to maintain that confidence.

  • NH State Loan Repayment Repayment Program – up to $65,000 with service commitment. Must be licensed or under supervision for licensure with the NH Board of Mental Health Practice.
