Full job description

This position plays the role of strategic partner and consultant to management on human resources-related topics. The HRBP will assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates proactively with HR and business management, developing creative, purpose-built, integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Partners with employees and management to outline and communicate various human resources policies, procedures laws, standards and government regulations. Recommends policy enhancements that further HR and organizational initiatives. Leads discussions and trains managers on various HR-related topics. Consults with managers and staff on employee relations issues, conducts investigations and makes recommendations in response to management and staff concerns.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or HR certification a plus. 5+years of Human Resources Generalist experience. Experience partnering with department leaders. Excellent communication skills, in both written, verbal and presentation form. Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures. Tech forward, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong HRIS skills (PeopleSoft preferred experience), and use of collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.). Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks, Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, collaborative spirit and dedication to customer service – a “Can Do” team player! Facilitation experience a plus.

  • Work Status: Typically, Monday-Friday 8-4:30. Flexibility required. ;
