Position Summary
A research position in experimental and computational topological metamaterials is available in the group of Dr. Camelia Prodan (Physics, Fordham University Rose Hill campus) supported by NSF
funds.
Essential Functions
- Achieves precise milestones on research projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Writes first draft and submits collaborative scientific papers on a regular basis.
- Participates in group meetings and works collaboratively with the members engaged in the project.
- Develops and performs experimental and computational analysis of systems assigned by the supervisor.
- Supervises high school and undergraduate students.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s of Science in Physics or related area.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced experience in Comsol acoustic and topological metamaterials.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
Minimum Starting Salary: $45,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $45,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
